KTT Kang White V3 Switches Switches KTT

KTT Kang White V3 Switches

Meet the KTT Kang White V3, a linear switch built on improved third-generation moulds for extra smoothness, reduced stem wobble and a fuller sound. The cross-shaped stem top adds stability, the transparent top housing lets RGB through cleanly rather than muting it, and it arrives pre-lubricated with KTT's own dry lubricant - usable straight from the packet, and better still if you lubricate it yourself.

Key Features of the KTT Kang White V3:

  • Linear travel: no tactile bump and no click, from the top of the keypress to the bottom.
  • Improved V3 moulds: the third-generation tooling cuts the stem wobble that affected earlier versions.
  • Factory lubricated: a light dry lubricant applied by KTT before it leaves the factory, so it is genuinely usable stock.
  • Transparent top housing: shows off per-key RGB instead of dulling it.
  • MX compatible: works with standard MX keycaps and MX-style housings.

Frequently asked questions

What do the KTT Kang White V3 Switches feel like?

Linear, so the keypress travels straight down with no bump and no click. It is the quietest of the three switch types and the usual choice for gaming, because there is nothing interrupting the stroke.

That makes the KTT Kang White V3 Switches a linear switch - if you have used a linear switch before and liked it, these will feel familiar.

They actuate at 45g, which counts as a medium-weight switch.

As a rough guide, under 45g is light and fast but easier to press by accident, 45-60g suits most people for both typing and gaming, and above 60g is deliberate and firm - popular with heavy-handed typists who want to avoid mistakes.

The key registers after 2mm and bottoms out at 4mm of total travel.

A shorter actuation distance means the keypress is picked up sooner, which is why speed switches shorten it for gaming. A longer one gives you more room to rest your fingers on the keys without triggering them.

Yes - these come lubed from the factory, so they feel smooth straight out of the packet.

Factory lube reduces the slight scratchiness of a bare switch and quietens spring ping. You can still hand-lube them if you want the absolute smoothest result, but for most people they are ready to fit as they are.

These are 3-pin (plate mount) switches.

It has three pins: two metal contact pins and one central plastic post. 3-pin switches drop straight into plate-mounted and hot-swap keyboards. If your board is PCB-mounted and expects 5-pin switches, a 3-pin switch still works - it just relies on the plate for stability.

This listing is sold in packs of 1 PCS, 10 PCS, 30 PCS, 70 PCS, 90 PCS, 110 PCS.

As a guide: a 60% keyboard needs about 61-68 switches, a TKL about 87, and a full-size board about 104. It is worth ordering a few spare in case one is faulty or you lose one during the build. If you only want to try the feel before committing, buy a single switch first.
